ABOUT
LESLIE PINAIRE
CCH, CCN, FEP
Leslie grew up in a tiny Colorado town on the Western Slope of the Great Divide. While these rural lands lacked big city conveniences and modern day luxuries, they did afford something much more significant in the great outdoors, like raging rivers, wild woods, mountain peaks, clean air and quiet solitude. It was here that Leslie first learned about the healing power of nature and her love and devotion for plants took root. Leslie now honors these humble beginnings and her deep appreciation for the flora and fauna of this great state by weaving its medicine into her work as much as possible.

Having studied holistic health and nutrition for over a decade, Leslie first received her bachelors degrees in Environmental Geography and World Religions from the University of Colorado at Boulder. These two fields of study provided an immense foundation of knowledge about bioregional plants and the people and philosophies that have historically utilized them. Leslie then furthered her education with a two year masters intensive at the Colorado School of Clinical Herbalism. This rigorous program required an in-depth understanding of phytochemistry, disease pathology, anatomy, physiology and the medicinal use and preparation of herbs and nutritional foods. She now serves her front range community as a Certified Clinical Herbalist, Certified Clinical Nutritionist and Flower Essence Practitioner at Anwesha.
Leslie likes to activate her clients natural ability to heal themselves using methods from the Vitalist tradition, including Nature Cure, Mind/Body Awareness, Herbs, Nutrition and Flower Essences. With an extensive background in sustainable agricultural practices, she also enjoys empowering her community through education on responsible wildcrafting, as well as how to grow food and medicinal plants at home.
